Formal speeches at events such as the Royal Television Society, at international corporate conferences for companies such as Deloitte, and the Murdoch lecture at Oxford University.
Wide experience chairing conferences and seminars, such as the annual IBC conference. This year that included hosting the Amsterdam end of the first live satellite transmissions of 3D pictures from Los Angeles, featuring a live interview with producer Jeffrey Katzenburg in front of a 1000 strong audience.
Ray has chaired a seminar for Deloitte, with an audience of more than 300 people, and in a more informal vein he gave a double header “performance” with the BBC media correspondent Torin Douglas on the future of the media in a well-attended event organised by Mediatel.
He also interviewed Sir Christopher Meyer, the outgoing chairman of the Press Complaints Commission, on stage at a joint Media Society/Society of Editors event at the London College of Communications.
