Tess launched a new Lottery show for primetime BBC1. The eight part series This Time Tomorrow saw Tess giving contestants the chance to win a prize of a lifetime.
Tess teamed up with husband Vernon Kay for two series of Just The Two Of Us for BBC1. The series saw celebrities being paired with their singing idols. Prior to this Tess co-hosted The All Time Greatest Love Songs, a musical extravaganza for BBC1 alongside Lionel Ritchie and went onto host More All Time Greatest Love Songs, All Time Greatest Party Songs and All Time Greatest Movie Songs.
2003 had Tess waking up the nation on its favourite Saturday morning show SM:tv, ITV1. One of Stockport’s most treasured exports has made quite a name for herself since giving up the world of modelling to concentrate on presenting. A popular choice with all the broadcasters, Tess has presented The Dancestar Awards for MTV, Exclusive for Channel Five and LA Pool Party for the BBC. While for ITV1 Tess presented the daytime heats for Britain’s Brainiest Kids and The Clothes Show, and the live coverage of The National TV Awards for ITV2.
Tess fronted a series of Home On Their Own, ITV1, helping children up and down the country revamp their family homes, often with interesting consequences. While The Christmas Show saw her getting festive with Eammon Holmes for ITV1. For BBC1 Tess hosted the mammoth live fundraising event Sports Relief in 2004. Tess hosted Five’s Back To Reality, which saw the most famous reality TV stars living in a Truman like house for three weeks. Tess also presented the live two hour final of Find Me A Supermodel, which awarded an aspiring model a contract.
Tess’ first presenting break came in 1999 when she spent six weeks scouring the country for The Big Breakfast’s Find Me A Model competition. Since then she hasn’t looked back and stints on The Phone Zone for BBC UK Play and The Mix for ITV led to her presenting Singled Out for Channel Five/MTV, Surf Trip for Channel Four and Smash Hits TV for Sky One.
Tess gained nine O’Levels before being spotted by Models One. She went on to achieve great modelling success. Endlessly fascinated by life, living, people and culture, Tess makes the best of all possible things.
