Fiona Bruce’s Background / History

Bruce briefly worked as a management consultant before beginning her career in television as a researcher on Panorama in 1989. She an Oxford University graduate and speaks fluent French and Italian.

Bruce joined the BBC in 1989 and is perhaps best known for her role as a news presenter. However, she has also presented many of the BBC’s flagship programmes including News at Six, News at Ten, Crimewatch and, most recently, Antiques Roadshow.
