Jacqui Oatley Biography
She is best known for becoming the first female commentator on BBC Match of the Day in 2007 and is now presenter of Sky Sports’ weekly Sunday Supplement football show.
As a former player and FA qualified football coach, Jacqui has presented and commentated on the biggest football tournaments worldwide, including men’s and women’s World Cups and Euros, as well as the Olympic Games.
She spent the summer of 2019 in France, commentating on the Women’s World Cup for worldwide TV. She is on the national committee of the Football Writers’ Association and is an Ambassador of Women in Football.
Away from football, Jacqui is ITV’s presenter for their Professional Darts Corporation coverage (the first female to anchor darts), as well as the sports news on BBC Radio 4 Today programme.
Jacqui has hosted many high profile events throughout her career for the likes of FIFA, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, McDonald’s, the FA and speaks regularly at schools and universities.
