About Paolo Gallo

He has delivered keynotes for 10 Downing Street, World Economic Forum in Davos, Ferrari, FCA-Fiat, LVMH, Manpower, World Bank, Microsoft, United Nations, Toyota, Ministry of Economics and Finance (Italy), Bosch, Citigroup, Blackrock, UBS, ENI, Unicredit, Schneider, IATA, WTO, WHO, WIPO, British Chamber of Commerce, PWC, IMD, St. Gallen, Antwerp Management Schools, Starbucks and given TEDx and several commencement speeches worldwide.

A popular futurist and a recognized thought leader in themes related to global job market megatrends, ethics and AI, Leadership 4.0 and personal development, well-being and energy management in a disruptive VUCA world, Paolo has served as Chief Human Resources Officer at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and has also been Chief Learning at The World Bank in Washington DC and Director of Human Resources at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, with prior experience at the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC and at Citigroup in London, New York and Milan, his home town. He is also a board member of selected companies.

Paolo graduated with top marks in Organizational Behavior from Bocconi University, Milan. He is a Chartered Fellow of the FCIPD, UK and a Certified Leadership Coach from Georgetown University, Washington DC. He has worked in 80+ countries and has authored articles published by Harvard Business Review (Italian and Arabic editions), Forbes, World Economic Forum Agenda, IrishTech, Quartz, LINC, Pirelli Magazine Italy and Tribune de Geneve.

Additionally, Paolo is the author of the international bestseller “The Compass & The Radar: The art of building a rewarding career while remaining true to yourself”, a mix of coaching, self-improvement, organizational behavior and business ethics.

The Compass & The Radar won the Gold medal Axion Business Book 2019 in USA and was nominated for the Best Business Book award and is amongst the best 5 HR Books by HR Magazine in UK. Originally published in Italian titled La Bussola del Successo, has also been published in Portuguese, Arabic, Korean, Spanish and French and achieved 14 different editions worldwide.

Paolo has delivered more than 100 interactive and inspirational keynotes and TEDx talks in front of thousands of people worldwide. Paolo Gallo lives in Geneva with his wife and daughter.
