Robert Cringely is a futurist, speaker, columnist and is the author of two best-selling technical publications including “Accidental Empires: How the Boys of Silicon Valley Make Their Millions, Battle Foreign Competition” and “Still Can’t Get a Date”.

He is also one of the world’s most renowned tech bloggers with more than two million monthly followers who work has been featured some high-profile publications including Newsweek, Forbes, Upside, Success and Worth magazines. Robert is the Op-Ed writer for The New York Times and runs his own high-tech consulting business. He is also a popular and widely known speaker.

Robert is also a public broadcasting service (PBS) personality and was the 12th employee at Apple Computers back in 1977. After moving on from Apple, he taught for several years at Stanford University before becoming the high-tech columnist for InfoWorld which is an industry trade publication read by more than six hundred thousand IT professionals.
