Meet Ludovica Brignola

Ludovica Brignola is an anchor at Thomson Reuters, covering financial markets, geopolitics and energy markets in her daily bulletins. She hosts a weekly program called SectorUpClose focused on various sectors of the economy, from listed companies to hedge funds, real estate and crypto.

Previously, Ludovica was a Business Presenter at TRT World, and has focused extensively on the Middle East in the course of her career. She speaks fluent English, Italian and intermediate Arabic and Turkish.

Previous roles also include CNBC. She has worked as a moderator for several years, first through CNBC, moderating panels discussions and events for Banca Intesa, Eurizon and Unicredit Bank. This year, she also hosted Assogestioni’s ‘Il Salone del Risparmio’, the biggest financial conference in Italy but also one of Europe’s largest asset management events – with over 21.000 attendees. Speakers included Algebris CEO Davide Serra, Amundi Asset Management’s Head of International Partners Cinzia Tagliabue, BlackRock’s Head of Southern Europe Giovanni Sandri and European Commission’s Director of employment Mario Nava.
