With 19 years of dedicated service at Graham, Nicole M. DuBois has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s human resources strategy. As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Nicole leads the overall HR strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, employee relations, internships, volunteerism, and employee engagement and experience initiatives.
Under Nicole’s leadership, Graham Windham has seen significant advancements in employee feedback and performance management, innovative compensation, benefits, and wellness programming, and diversified approaches to learning and development, including the incorporation of professional coaching as a key element. Nicole is passionate about amplifying the voices of diverse and underrepresented individuals and communities and serves as a brand ambassador for organizations like Graham, which catalyze long-lasting impact.
Nicole is also the author of a memoir (originally published under a pseudonym, Danielle M. Bryan), Unparalyzed: Beating an Invisible Pre-midlife Crisis, which is a deeply personal memoir about grit and the refusal to give up in the face of adversity and difficult circumstances. Inspired by the late Toni Morrison, Nicole wrote this book to help readers see themselves in another woman whose experiences were similar—a 30-something divorced, professional woman of color with an invisible and incurable chronic illness and insatiable determination. The memoir aims to accompany similarly situated women as they navigate their own journeys and live a big, colorful life that their children can be proud of and inspired by.
Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and urban studies from Fordham University and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. Recognized for her contributions to the field, Nicole has been named a Top 100 Human Resources Professional by a community of peers several years, including this past April for 2025.
An avid international traveler, Nicole has explored diverse cultures and destinations, including the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, France, Greece, Indonesia, Jamaica, Belize, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey, Italy, England, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Portugal, and Spain. This global perspective enriches Nicole’s approach to human resources, bringing a unique blend of cultural awareness and innovative thinking to the table.
Nicole is a native to New York City and presently resides in New Jersey with her husband and sons.
