Why organisations work with Lord Chris Holmes He is the peer behind the Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill, giving boards a direct read on the likely shape of UK AI legislation rather than a second-hand interpretation of it. He co-chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on Fintech, AI, Blockchain, Assistive Technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, so he sees the full policy stack in one view. His authored Cabinet Office review and his 2017 DLT for Public Good report give him a track record of turning parliamentary inquiry into usable policy recommendations, not just speeches. He ran Paralympic Integration for London 2012, a programme delivered on a fixed date with global scrutiny, which grounds his technology arguments in large-scale operational delivery. Inclusion sits inside his technology argument, not beside it, so a single session covers AI governance and the workforce implications without stitching two speakers together. Biography highlights Life peer in the House of Lords since 2013, sitting as Baron Holmes of Richmond. Sponsor of the Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill [HL], which had its second reading in March 2024 with cross-party support from over 20 peers. Member of the House of Lords Science and Technology Select Committee; previously served on the AI, Democracy and Digital Technologies, Financial Exclusion, Social Mobility and Digital Skills committees. Co-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on Fintech, AI, Blockchain, Assistive Technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Director of Paralympic Integration for London 2012; Britain’s most successful Paralympic swimmer with nine golds, five silvers and one bronze across four Games. MBE (1993); honorary Doctor of Laws, University of Bath (2012); inducted into the Paralympic Hall of Fame. Biography The UK has been trying to decide what kind of AI regulator it wants to be. Lord Chris Holmes has been writing a specific answer to that question inside the House of Lords, most visibly through his Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill, which received its second reading in March 2024 with support from more than twenty peers across party lines. He sits on the House of Lords Science and Technology Select Committee and has previously served on the committees for Artificial Intelligence, Democracy and Digital Technologies, Financial Exclusion, Social Mobility and Digital Skills. That run of committee work, alongside co-chairing parliamentary groups on Fintech, Blockchain, Assistive Technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, gives him an unusually wide view of how technology policy is being written across Westminster. Before the Lords, he was Director of Paralympic Integration for London 2012, responsible for making the Paralympics work at the scale of the Olympic Games. The programme hit a fixed date with worldwide visibility, and it informs how he talks about delivering complex technology and inclusion agendas under pressure. His authored work includes the Cabinet Office review on opening public appointments to disabled people and the 2017 report on distributed ledger technologies for public good. For a board trying to understand what AI governance, digital assets and inclusive design will mean in practice, he offers a view formed by drafting the law itself. Key speaking topics AI regulation and governance Fintech and the future of financial services The Fourth Industrial Revolution Distributed ledger technology and digital assets Inclusive technology and accessibility by design Diversity and inclusion in the workforce Leadership lessons from elite sport Delivering large-scale public programmes Ideal for Board and executive committee sessions on AI strategy, governance and regulatory exposure. CTOs, CIOs and heads of policy in banking, insurance and payments navigating fintech and digital asset rules. CHROs and inclusion leads connecting workforce strategy to accessible technology design. Public sector and regulated-industry leadership teams preparing for UK AI legislation. Audience outcomes A clearer view of how UK AI regulation is likely to evolve and what that means for current technology investment decisions. A specific sense of where fintech, digital assets and assistive technology policy are converging. Practical reference points for building inclusion into product and workforce decisions, rather than treating it as a separate workstream. A memorable throughline from elite performance to policy design that leadership teams can use internally.

Why organisations work with Chris Skinner His Intelligent Money thesis – that by 2030 AI will make money embedded, autonomous, and invisible within daily life – gives financial institutions a specific, time-bound structural challenge to test their strategy against, rather than a generic warning about disruption. Doing Digital draws on direct research inside transformation programmes at JP Morgan Chase, DBS, BBVA, ING, and China Merchants Bank – peer-level evidence on what structural change in banking actually requires, not what frameworks predict. The Finanser, updated daily for more than two decades, means organisations working with Skinner access a commentator whose knowledge base is built from continuous sector tracking rather than periodic research cycles. His advisory work spans the World Economic Forum, World Bank, United Nations, and White House – a perspective tested by global regulators and policymakers alongside market practitioners. The 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from The Payments Association, the largest payments professional community in the UK, represents recognition from peers within the sector rather than from the speaker circuit. Biography highlights Founder and Chair, the Financial Services Club – European financial industry network, founded 2004 Author of 18 books on digital banking and fintech, including Digital Bank, Doing Digital, Digital for Good, and Intelligent Money (Marshall Cavendish, 2024) 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award, The Payments Association Visiting lecturer, Cambridge University; TEDx speaker (TEDx Athens) Non-executive director, 11:FS (fintech consultancy firm) Former VP Marketing and Strategy, Unisys Global Financial Services; former Strategy Director, NCR Financial Services Fellow of the British Computer Society; Fellow of the Institute of Management Services; BSc Management Sciences, Loughborough University Regular commentator on BBC News, Sky News, CNBC, and Bloomberg; contributor to American Banker Named among the Top 40 most influential people in financial technology, Wall Street Journal’s Financial News Biography The Finanser, Chris Skinner’s daily blog on financial markets and technology, has run for more than two decades. His 18 books – from Digital Bank to Intelligent Money (Marshall Cavendish, 2024) – form a sustained body of analysis on how digital technology is restructuring banking and what that means for institutions built around managing money on behalf of customers. Intelligent Money argues that by 2030 AI will make money embedded, autonomous, and invisible within daily life. This is a structural challenge asking institutions to account for what purpose they serve when AI handles financial decisions on the customer’s behalf. Doing Digital draws on direct research inside transformation programmes at JP Morgan Chase, DBS, BBVA, ING, and China Merchants Bank. It is one of the few comparative analyses of large-scale banking transformation built from institutional access rather than external observation. Before establishing The Finanser, Skinner was VP of Marketing and Strategy at Unisys Global Financial Services and Strategy Director at NCR Financial Services. He founded the Financial Services Club in 2004. He holds a BSc in Management Sciences from Loughborough University and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He has advised on financial system transformation at the World Economic Forum, World Bank, United Nations, and White House, and appears regularly on BBC News, Sky News, CNBC, and Bloomberg. In 2023, The Payments Association awarded him its Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a visiting lecturer at Cambridge University. Key speaking topics Digital transformation in banking and financial services AI and generative finance: the future of money Fintech, payments, and the restructuring of banking models Central bank digital currencies and the digital payments landscape Future banking strategy in a platform-driven economy Technology and ESG in financial services Ideal for Chief executives, strategy directors, and transformation leads in banking and financial services Boards and executive committees of financial institutions navigating digital restructuring Fintech leaders and payments executives Financial regulators and policy teams examining digital money and AI in finance Audience outcomes A specific framework for understanding what AI-driven financial systems mean for existing banking models – not just what technology is changing, but what institutions need to become Case study evidence from major banks including JP Morgan Chase, DBS, and BBVA on what large-scale digital transformation actually requires at an institutional level Clarity on the distinction between digitising banking processes and restructuring banking as a business model A grounded view of where central bank digital currencies, decentralised finance, and AI-managed money systems fit within existing regulatory and institutional frameworks A time-bound analytical perspective on the future of financial services, grounded in two decades of continuous sector tracking

Why organisations work with Christer Holloman He built the playbook he now teaches. As founder and CEO of Divido, he scaled a white-label Buy Now Pay Later platform to 10 countries and an exit into NatWest, raising roughly $50 million from American Express and Sony along the way. His book “Transactional to Transformational: How Banks Innovate” is built on named case studies from Bank of America, BBVA, Citi, Deutsche Bank, ING, J.P. Morgan, Lloyds and Santander, not generic frameworks. He has been on the bank side as HSBC’s first Entrepreneur in Residence, so he speaks to incumbents from inside their own constraints, not as an outsider throwing stones. He works at the live edge of fintech: digital assets, open banking as a commercial play rather than a compliance exercise, and the shift from agentic AI into agentic commerce. Swedish by background, London and New York by career, multilingual, and at ease in a boardroom with both a retail CEO and a risk committee. Biography highlights Founder and CEO of Divido (2014-2022); company acquired into NatWest in 2024. Author of “Transactional to Transformational: How Banks Innovate” (Wiley, 2021). Author of “The Social Media MBA” series and “How to Sell Online” (Wiley). Entrepreneur in Residence, HSBC (2022-2023). Co-founder and CEO of sustainable finance platform Credential. MBA, Said Business School, University of Oxford. Forbes contributor on fintech; former tech writer for Sky News. Biography Buy Now Pay Later looked like a retail feature before it looked like an asset class. Divido, the company Christer Holloman founded out of an Oxford MBA thesis in 2014, was one of the first platforms to treat it as infrastructure: a white-label product that banks and lenders could plug into any merchant, in any country, without rebuilding their own stack. By 2022 the business had raised around $50 million from investors including American Express and Sony, operated in 10 markets, and counted Mastercard, BMW and HSBC among its clients. In 2024 it became part of NatWest. That operator experience is the spine of everything he now teaches. After Divido, HSBC made him their first Entrepreneur in Residence, an unusual role that put a founder inside one of the world’s largest banks to challenge how it builds, buys and partners on new technology. It is also the reporting line behind his Wiley book “Transactional to Transformational: How Banks Innovate”, a collection of case studies drawn from named executives at Bank of America, BBVA, Citi, Deutsche Bank, ING, J.P. Morgan, Lloyds, Santander, Standard Chartered and others. The thesis is unsentimental: incumbents can innovate, but only when the operating model, not the PR team, gets redesigned. He has since moved to New York, co-founded the sustainable finance platform Credential, and continued to write for Forbes on fintech. Earlier in his career he launched Glassdoor in Europe for Rich Barton and ran digital product at The Times and The Sunday Times, which gives him a media-trained way of explaining complex regulated products to non-specialist audiences. What senior audiences get is someone who has raised the money, signed the bank partnerships, lived with the compliance questions and then written the book. He is particularly sharp on where AI, digital assets and embedded finance are about to collide inside balance-sheet businesses, and on the specific question of what serious incumbents should do about it. Key speaking topics Fintech and the future of banking Open banking as commercial strategy Digital assets and tokenisation Agentic AI and agentic commerce Buy Now Pay Later and embedded finance Innovation inside regulated industries Scaling a venture from founder to exit Ideal for Bank and insurance executive committees, innovation boards and retail banking leadership CDOs, CIOs and heads of innovation in financial services and large regulated enterprises Fintech, payments and retail finance conferences Corporate venture and M&A teams assessing fintech partnerships or acquisitions Audience outcomes A clear read on how incumbent banks are actually innovating right now, drawn from named case studies rather than consulting templates. Practical judgement on when to build, when to partner with a startup, and when to acquire. A working view of where open banking, digital assets and agentic commerce are converging into the next retail financial product. Founder-level honesty about what it takes to sell into, partner with and exit to a large bank.

Why organisations work with Confidence Staveley A practitioner voice on cybersecurity rooted in build-side delivery: founder of a foundation that trains thousands of women across 22-plus African countries, not a commentator describing the field from outside it. Author of API Security for White Hat Hackers (Packt, 2024), a technical book serious enough to be used inside security teams, written with co-author Christopher Romeo. Sits on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Cybersecurity, giving boards a direct line to how global policy and operational practice are converging. Brings a developing-economy lens most bureau cyber speakers do not: digital trust, payment threat landscapes and capacity-building in markets where the cost of a breach lands differently. Operational credibility on the workforce question: her CyberGirls Fellowship has become a model programme cited in the World Bank 2023 practitioner note on closing the cyber skills gap. Biography highlights Founder and Executive Director, CyberSafe Foundation (Nigeria) Author, API Security for White Hat Hackers, Packt Publishing Member, World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Cybersecurity Member, Forbes Technology Council 2023 Cybersecurity Woman of the World Award; ISC2 Global Achievement Award Obama Foundation Leaders Africa, 2022 cohort SANS Institute Difference Maker Award, People’s Champion of the Year, 2024 Biography Most cybersecurity conversations at the board level still depend on the security team simplifying for everyone else. The translation rarely survives the journey. Confidence Staveley built her career on closing that gap, in technical depth and in commercial clarity. She is the founder of the CyberSafe Foundation, a Nigerian non-profit that has trained women across more than twenty African countries through its CyberGirls Fellowship. The programme is a working answer to the cyber skills shortage, recognised in a 2023 World Bank practitioner note as a model worth scaling. Alongside the foundation, she co-authored API Security for White Hat Hackers, published by Packt, a working manual for security engineers rather than a thought-leadership book. Her platform reflects that hybrid of practice and policy. She sits on the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Cybersecurity, is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, and was selected for the Obama Foundation Leaders Africa cohort in 2022. The recognitions matter because of where they cluster: technical authority, governance, and inclusion of underserved talent into the global cyber workforce. What organisations book her for is the rare combination of board-credible framing and ground-floor delivery, with a perspective shaped by markets where the cost of digital failure shows up faster. The 2023 Cybersecurity Woman of the World Award placed her against roughly 160 nominees from women-in-cyber networks worldwide; she came out on top. That kind of recognition, from inside the industry rather than from a bureau, is what separates a working practitioner from a circuit speaker. Key speaking topics Cybersecurity as board-level risk Digital trust and the payment threat landscape API security and application risk The cybersecurity workforce gap Women and inclusion in cyber Cyber capacity-building in emerging markets Data protection in the digital economy Ideal for Boards and audit committees treating cyber as a governance question CISOs, CIOs and CTOs are briefing executive teams on workforce and risk Financial services, fintech and payments leadership confronting fraud and digital trust Global organisations with African operations or talent strategy in the region Audience outcomes A clearer board-level vocabulary for cyber risk, separated from technical jargon A sharper read on where the cybersecurity workforce gap is widening, and what is actually working to close it A practitioner’s view of API and application security risk in commercial terms A more honest framing of inclusion in cyber as a talent-supply question, not a values statement

Why organisations work with David McWilliams He publicly forecast the 2008 financial crisis, Brexit, and the rise of US trade nationalism – while the institutional consensus pointed elsewhere. That track record changes how boards receive his analysis. Money: A Story of Humanity was named Economics Book of the Year by the Financial Times and Book of the Year by The Economist in the same year. That combination of endorsements is rare and signals intellectual authority, not just popular appeal. He frames monetary and economic forces as historical and civilisational patterns rather than cyclical fluctuations, giving leadership teams a much longer analytical lens than conventional macro forecasting provides. His podcast has passed 40 million downloads across 130 countries – which means his frameworks have already been tested against non-economist audiences, and translate directly into board conversations without requiring prior economic knowledge. His festival Kilkenomics was described by the Financial Times as “simply, the best economics conference in the world” – a peer endorsement that signals the quality of dialogue he convenes and the seriousness with which other economists take his work. Biography highlights Adjunct Professor of Global Economics, Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin; Masters in Economics, College of Europe, Bruges Former economist at the Central Bank of Ireland; subsequently Senior European Economist at UBS and Head of Emerging Markets Research at Banque Nationale de Paris Author of six books, including Money: A Story of Humanity – named Economics Book of the Year by the Financial Times, Book of the Year by The Economist and The Observer, Waterstones Non-Fiction Book of the Year, and an international No.1 bestseller (2024) Weekly columnist, The Irish Times; regular contributor, Financial Times; contributor to TIME magazine TED2023 main stage speaker; “The Power of Unconventional Thinking” has exceeded one million views Founder of Kilkenomics; co-founder of the Dalkey Book Festival; World Economic Forum Young Global Leader Biography When organisations need economic foresight, they typically turn to the same institutions – banks, consultancies, research houses – whose consensus forecasts missed the 2008 crash, Brexit, and the rise of trade nationalism. David McWilliams, Adjunct Professor of Global Economics at Trinity College Dublin, was among the very small group who called all three in advance. He trained at Trinity College Dublin and the College of Europe in Bruges, and worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Ireland before moving to UBS and Banque Nationale de Paris, where he held senior roles in European and emerging markets research. His most recent book, Money: A Story of Humanity, argues that money is not a financial instrument but a civilisational technology – the primary force shaping power, politics, and social structure across five millennia of human history. Named Economics Book of the Year by the Financial Times and Book of the Year by The Economist in 2024, it became an international No.1 bestseller translated into 21 languages. Its central argument – that the stability of today’s monetary system is largely illusory, built on mechanisms most decision-makers do not understand – speaks directly to organisations navigating interest rate risk, currency exposure, or fiscal stress. A weekly columnist in The Irish Times and regular contributor to the Financial Times, McWilliams has built one of the broadest non-specialist economics audiences of any working economist. His podcast has passed 40 million downloads across 130 countries. His TED2023 main stage talk has exceeded one million views. The reach matters in leadership settings: his frameworks have been tested against audiences who are not economists, which means they translate directly into board conversations. He founded Kilkenomics on the premise that the best economic thinking happens when it is challenged from outside the discipline – a view the Financial Times endorsed by calling it “simply, the best economics conference in the world.” The same argument runs through his TED talk, “The Power of Unconventional Thinking”: that institutions which reward consensus produce the overconfidence that precedes every major economic failure. For leadership teams navigating the current period of monetary, geopolitical, and structural instability, that is not an abstract point. Key speaking topics Monetary systems and the history of money Global macroeconomic trends and forecasting Geopolitics and the political economy of trade Financial market dynamics and systemic risk The future of currencies and digital money Economic nationalism and the fracturing of global trade Unconventional thinking and institutional groupthink Ideal for Board-level and C-suite leadership conferences focused on strategic risk, long-range planning, or capital allocation in conditions of macro uncertainty Financial services and banking audiences navigating monetary policy, interest rate cycles, and regulatory change Corporate strategy and scenario planning forums requiring grounded macroeconomic and geopolitical context Economic policy and public affairs conferences where eurozone dynamics, EU-UK relations, or global trade architecture are on the agenda Audience outcomes A structured understanding of how monetary systems and debt cycles create predictable patterns of economic stress – and what indicators to watch for A longer historical lens for interpreting current macro conditions, including inflation, currency risk, and fiscal instability Practical context for the geopolitical and structural forces driving trade nationalism, eurozone tensions, and dollar dependency Confidence in interrogating economic consensus rather than deferring to it uncritically A framework for communicating economic complexity to non-specialist boards, investors, or stakeholders

Why organisations work with Dominique Strauss-Kahn His account of the 2008 global financial crisis comes from inside the institution that managed it – not from research or observation, but from running the IMF through its most consequential period in decades. He chaired the multilateral process that produced the IMF’s early call for a coordinated global fiscal stimulus. The practical mechanics of that coordination – and its limits – are not recoverable from any published analysis. He has developed an analytical framework that maps the structural tensions between national sovereignty, democratic accountability, and deep global economic integration – giving organisations a precise vocabulary for the governance dilemmas that now shape trade strategy, capital allocation, and regulatory planning. He has worked on both sides of the government-institution relationship: as a national finance minister who negotiated with international bodies, and as the head of the body those ministers negotiated with. That dual vantage point is genuinely rare. Post-IMF, he has advised governments on sovereign debt restructuring, giving him current applied knowledge of how creditors, debtors, and international institutions interact under financial pressure. Biography highlights Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (2007-2011), selected by consensus of the IMF Executive Board with the backing of the European Union, the United States, China, and most of Africa Led the IMF’s institutional response to the 2008 global financial crisis, including its influential early call for a coordinated global fiscal stimulus French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry (1997-1999), responsible for national economic policy during France’s transition to the euro; also served as Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade (1991-1993) Member of the French National Assembly across multiple terms; chaired the parliamentary finance committee (1988-1991) Professor of Economics at Sciences Po (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and the University of Paris (Nanterre) PhD in economics from the University of Paris (Nanterre); graduate of HEC Paris and Sciences Po Biography The international monetary system was not designed for the world it now governs. Capital moves faster than treaties can be renegotiated. Sovereign debt crises spread before early warning systems respond. Dominique Strauss-Kahn served as IMF Managing Director during the 2008 global financial crisis, the sharpest test the institution had faced in decades. Under his leadership, the IMF moved early to advocate a coordinated global fiscal stimulus, placing the institution at the centre of the crisis response. He led quota reforms that gave emerging economies a larger voice in IMF governance. He also supervised a significant reversal of the institution’s longstanding position on capital controls, recognising them as a legitimate tool of macroeconomic management. These were not technical adjustments but substantive shifts in how the world’s principal international financial institution understood its own role. Before the IMF, Strauss-Kahn served as France’s Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, overseeing national economic policy during France’s transition to the euro. He also held the portfolio of Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, and chaired the National Assembly’s finance committee across an earlier parliamentary term. Few speakers have held senior responsibility on both sides of the relationship between national governments and international economic institutions. He has held academic positions at Sciences Po and the University of Paris, and holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Paris. He has developed a publicly presented analytical framework – drawing on the Mundell-Fleming impossible trinity, the Rodrik globalisation trilemma, and the European fiscal-monetary dilemma – that gives organisations a structured way to map the governance tensions that now affect trade, investment, and regulatory strategy. Key speaking topics International economic governance and its limits Sovereign debt, financial crisis, and multilateral response The international monetary system and its reform Global fiscal and monetary policy coordination European economic integration Geopolitical risk and economic stability Emerging economies and the shifting balance of global economic power Ideal for CFOs, treasurers, and investment committees at global organisations managing currency, sovereign, and systemic risk Board-level and C-suite audiences at banks, financial institutions, and multinational corporations Government, central bank, and regulatory audiences engaged in international policy Economic policy forums, sovereign wealth fund conferences, and global business summits Audience outcomes A clearer understanding of how the IMF and comparable institutions make decisions under pressure, and what those decisions cannot achieve Practical insight into the mechanics of sovereign debt negotiation and cross-border financial crisis management A framework for mapping structural tensions between national economic policy and global integration, and what those tensions mean for corporate and government strategy Context for how international monetary reform debates – over reserve currencies, capital controls, and fiscal coordination – are likely to develop A sharper grasp of where global economic governance is most fragile, and why

Why organisations work with Elemi Atigolo He has put a generative AI product through UK financial regulation. Finley AI worked with the FCA Advice Unit on guidance models before evolving into an agentic financial AI agent that institutions integrate by API, which gives him a reference point on supervision and compliance that few AI speakers hold. He has handled the work he now advises on. A wealth manager at HSBC and a partner at St. James’s Place before he co-founded City Wharf Private Wealth, he has dealt with client suitability and adviser workflow first-hand. His thinking is on the record. His 2026 paper on the Agentic Profit Paradox sets out how agentic AI can improve client outcomes while weakening the human-bounded revenue that funds a firm’s margins, which reframes AI from an efficiency question into a question about the business model itself. He works at executive level, not only with technology teams. At Consult Venture Partners he advises boards on where generative and agentic AI changes the operating model and the economics, a conversation that needs someone who has carried both commercial and regulatory responsibility. Biography highlights Managing Partner and co-founder of Consult Venture Partners, advising boards on generative and agentic AI adoption. Founder of the Autonomy Economics framework and author of the 2026 paper “The Agentic Profit Paradox and the Reorganisation of Value Capture”. Co-founder of INATIGO (WealthTech100 2024, selected by FinTech Global from 1,300 companies) and lead developer of Finley AI, now an agentic financial AI agent delivered by API, which engaged the FCA Advice Unit on guidance models. Former HSBC Wealth Manager and former partner at St. James’s Place; co-founder of City Wharf Private Wealth, Highly Commended for Most Innovative Wealth Management Model at the 2021 WealthBriefing European Awards. Member of the Forbes Advisor Advisory Board (since October 2024) and the MIT Technology Review Global Insights Panel; named in the Powerlist Top 30 Tech Titans 2021 for Fintech and Data (Refinitiv/LSEG) and a UK FinTech Awards “Innovator of the Year” finalist. Contributor to FT Adviser and The Banker; featured by The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, BBC, CNBC Africa, IBM, and Wealth Adviser; speaker at an Economist Impact summit (2023). Holds a BSc in Computer Science and Distributed Information Systems and an MA in Accounting and Finance. Biography Finley AI went through the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Advice Unit before most banks had written an AI policy. Built by INATIGO, the company Atigolo co-founded, it began in 2019 as a conversational assistant. It now runs as an agentic financial AI agent that institutions integrate by API. That history anchors his work, at the point where AI in finance meets supervision and the realities of client suitability. His route into AI is unusual. He managed client portfolios at HSBC, became a partner at St. James’s Place, and co-founded City Wharf Private Wealth, a digital wealth firm recognised at the 2021 WealthBriefing European Awards. He has sat on both sides of the client relationship and the technology that now reshapes it. His current research turns that experience into an argument. In a 2026 paper he set out the Agentic Profit Paradox: firms adopt agentic AI to stay competitive, and in doing so erode the human-bounded revenue that produced their margins. He calls the wider field Autonomy Economics, the study of how value capture and commercial defensibility shift once work no longer needs continuous human direction. For a board, the question is rarely what AI can do, and almost always what to build, what to buy, what to govern, and what it does to the business model. Through Consult Venture Partners, where he is Managing Partner, Atigolo answers it as someone who has both written the models and signed the client suitability forms. Key speaking topics Generative AI in financial services AI agents and conversational interfaces in wealth management AI, regulation, and the FCA AI product strategy for regulated firms Client experience and adviser workflow in an AI-enabled firm Fintech innovation and WealthTech AI adoption for finance leaders Ideal for CEOs, COOs, and boards in banking, wealth, asset management, insurance, and private capital setting AI strategy Chief Technology, Data, and AI Officers scoping generative and agentic AI deployment in regulated environments Heads of Advice, Distribution, and Client Experience reworking the adviser-client model Compliance, risk, and regulatory leads assessing AI governance, and executives weighing what autonomous systems do to margins and operating models Audience outcomes A clear view of where generative and agentic AI is already viable in regulated financial services, and where it is not A working vocabulary for AI agents, conversational interfaces, and the governance questions behind them A sharper read on what the FCA and comparable regulators expect when AI touches client guidance A realistic picture of what changes for advisers, clients, and operating models when AI moves from pilot to live A view of how agentic AI can strengthen client outcomes while undermining the revenue that historically funded them, and what that means for strategy

Why organisations work with Emilie Bellet She has built one of the UK’s largest women-focused financial education communities from scratch, which gives her a live read on what employees actually ask, avoid and misunderstand about money. She pairs a Lehman Brothers and Trilantic private equity background with a mass-market book and weekly podcast, so she can move between a CFO audience and a shop-floor audience without shifting register. Her work gives employers a concrete way to connect financial wellbeing, pay equity and retention of senior women, three agendas that are usually owned by different teams and rarely joined up. She is a named voice in the UK financial media (Financial Times, The i Paper, Vogue, BBC), which makes her credible to finance services clients where brand risk around money content is high. Biography highlights Founder and CEO of Vestpod, a financial education platform and community for women. Author of “You’re Not Broke, You’re Pre-Rich” (Octopus / Little, Brown) and contributor to “The WealthTech Book” (Wiley). Host of “The Wallet”, a weekly personal finance podcast. Columnist for the Financial Times and The i Paper; featured in Vogue, Forbes, BBC, The Guardian, Stylist and Courier. Former private equity professional at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking and Trilantic Capital Partners, London. Named in the Women in FinTech Powerlist (Rising Stars) and shortlisted for Disruptor of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards. Biography Most financial education inside large employers stops at pensions and payroll. It rarely answers the questions people actually carry into Monday morning: how to invest a first bonus, whether to buy, how to talk about money with a partner, what to do with a redundancy package. Vestpod was built to close that gap, and it has become one of the UK’s most engaged communities on women and money. The founder’s route in is unusual. Emilie spent seven years in private equity at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking and Trilantic Capital Partners in London before leaving the buy-side to build a platform she felt the market was not serving. That background matters for corporate audiences because she is not a lifestyle commentator, she is a former investor who now translates institutional finance into language a general workforce can use. The work has two sides that employers buy together. “You’re Not Broke, You’re Pre-Rich”, published by Octopus, codified the personal finance curriculum; the weekly newsletter, The Wallet podcast and Money Matters festival keep it current. Inside companies, that content becomes workshops on investing basics, the gender wealth gap and financial confidence, delivered for names including Amazon, BCG, Coutts, NatWest and Palo Alto Networks. Her media footprint is the credibility backstop. Regular columns in the Financial Times and The i Paper, plus coverage in Vogue, Forbes, BBC and The Guardian, put her in front of the audience senior HR and DEI teams are trying to reach, and give risk-sensitive financial services clients a known name they can put on a programme. Key speaking topics Women and wealth Financial wellbeing in the workplace The gender wealth and investment gap Personal finance and investing fundamentals Financial confidence and money mindset WealthTech and financial inclusion Entrepreneurship and building a consumer brand Ideal for CHROs and heads of reward designing financial wellbeing into benefits strategy DEI and women’s network leads who need content beyond mentoring and panels Financial services and WealthTech firms running client-facing events for women investors Internal International Women’s Day, Financial Wellness Month and employee festival programmes Audience outcomes A clear picture of where the gender wealth gap comes from and which levers an employer can actually pull Specific language and frameworks employees can use to take the next step on saving, investing or debt Renewed confidence to engage with pension, share scheme and investment decisions that many defer by default A sharper internal case for treating financial wellbeing as part of retention and inclusion strategy, not a standalone perk

Why organisations work with Eugene Fama He is the architect of the efficient markets hypothesis and co-author of the Fama-French three-factor model, two of the handful of frameworks that genuinely shape how serious institutions set investment policy. His 2013 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, shared with Lars Peter Hansen and Robert Shiller, was awarded specifically for empirical analysis of asset prices, the exact question committees face when they debate active versus passive, factor exposures, or long-run return assumptions. He has sat inside the practitioner world for more than four decades as a founding director of Dimensional Fund Advisors, so the perspective he brings to a room has been stress-tested against real portfolios, not just published papers. As chairman of the Center for Research in Security Prices at Chicago Booth, he oversees the dataset that underpins modern empirical finance, which gives his reading of current market behaviour an evidential weight few others can match. Before him, “what works in markets” was largely opinion. After his research, it became a testable claim. Institutions that care about fiduciary defensibility value that shift directly. Biography highlights Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, 2013, for empirical analysis of asset prices. Robert R. McCormick Distinguished Service Professor of Finance, University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Chairman of the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) at Chicago Booth. Founding director and member of the Investment Research Committee at Dimensional Fund Advisors. Author of more than 100 journal articles and the books “The Theory of Finance” (with Merton Miller), “Foundations of Finance”, and “The Fama Portfolio”. First recipient of the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics (2005), the Morgan Stanley AFA Award for Excellence in Finance (2007) and the Onassis Prize in Finance (2009). Biography Most of what financial markets look like from a trading floor was, until the 1960s, a matter of opinion. “Efficient Capital Markets: A Review of Theory and Empirical Work”, published in the Journal of Finance in May 1970, reframed the question as an empirical one and forced the industry to answer it with data. Eugene Fama wrote that paper while on the Chicago faculty he has now held for more than five decades. The body of work that followed is the intellectual spine of evidence-based investing. The 1992 paper with Kenneth French, “The Cross-Section of Expected Stock Returns”, established that exposure to market, size and value factors explained the overwhelming share of historical returns in diversified portfolios. That result is why index and factor strategies now dominate institutional allocation, and why active managers are held to a much harder standard than they were a generation ago. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the 2013 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences jointly to Fama, Lars Peter Hansen and Robert Shiller for their empirical analysis of asset prices. At the University of Chicago Booth School of Business he holds the Robert R. McCormick Distinguished Service Professorship and chairs the Center for Research in Security Prices, the dataset underneath most serious empirical finance. Since 1981 he has served as a founding director of Dimensional Fund Advisors, where the research has been deployed inside real portfolios at institutional scale. For boards and investment committees, the value is specific. He is the person who built the framework they are implicitly using when they debate active fees, factor tilts, or long-horizon assumptions, and he has stayed close enough to practice to speak to those debates with current evidence rather than historical summary. Key speaking topics Market efficiency and the empirical behaviour of asset prices The Fama-French factor models and expected returns Evidence-based and index-driven investment strategy Portfolio construction, diversification and long-horizon risk Active versus passive management under fiduciary constraints Empirical methods in financial economics Ideal for Boards, investment committees and trustees of pensions, endowments and sovereign funds CIOs, CFOs and heads of treasury setting long-horizon capital policy Asset managers, wealth managers and financial services executives refining their investment philosophy Academic and policy audiences engaged with capital markets research Audience outcomes A sharper read on what the empirical record actually says about predicting and beating markets A clearer basis for evaluating active managers, factor strategies and fee structures Language and evidence to defend long-horizon, diversified policy choices to stakeholders Direct engagement with the researcher whose frameworks sit underneath modern portfolio policy Grounded perspective on where current market debates diverge from, or align with, the empirical evidence

Why organisations work with Ewald Nowotny A first-hand account of ECB Governing Council decision-making across the sovereign debt crisis, the negative-rate era, and the start of unconventional policy unwind, by someone who voted in the room. Cross-institutional perspective most central bankers cannot match: ECB Governing Council, Vice President of the European Investment Bank, CEO of BAWAG P.S.K., and a chair of the Austrian Parliament’s Finance Committee. An economist’s framework, not a commentator’s view. Three decades as a full professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business, with nine books and a standard public finance textbook in its fifth edition. A direct read on European political economy and the durability of the euro, from a participant who was inside the German-Austrian bloc on the Council during its most contested years. Biography highlights Governor, Oesterreichische Nationalbank, and member of the ECB Governing Council, 2008 to 2019. Vice President, European Investment Bank, 1999 to 2003. CEO, BAWAG P.S.K. Group, 2006 to 2008. Full Professor of Economics, Vienna University of Economics and Business, 1981 to 2008; Vice Rector for Finance, 2003 to 2005. Member of the Austrian National Council, 1978 to 1999; Chair of the Finance Committee, 1985 to 1999. Chevalier of the French Legion d’Honneur (2017); Honorary Member, SUERF. Biography The eurozone has spent fifteen years inside policy regimes most boards were not built to read. Sovereign debt crisis, negative rates, asset purchase programmes, and the start of policy normalisation each redrew the cost of capital and the political settlement around it. Ewald Nowotny was inside the room where those decisions were taken. As Governor of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank from 2008 to 2019, he sat on the ECB Governing Council through every one of those phases. He voted on the response to the Greek crisis, on the launch of large-scale asset purchases, and on the policy stance that defined European credit conditions for a decade. His public commentary, captured across BIS speech archives and central banking media, tracked the substantive arguments inside the Council rather than the headlines outside it. Before the central bank, his career covered the institutions that shape European capital flows from different angles. He served as Vice President of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg from 1999 to 2003, then as CEO of BAWAG P.S.K. Group during a period of acute restructuring at the Austrian bank. Earlier, he chaired the Finance Committee of the Austrian Parliament for fourteen years. The academic standing is the second axis. He held a full professorship at Vienna University of Economics and Business for almost three decades and co-authored the standard German-language textbook on public sector finance, now in its fifth edition. He was made Chevalier of the French Legion d’Honneur in 2017 and is an honorary member of SUERF, the European Money and Finance Forum. Key speaking topics Eurozone monetary policy and the future of the euro ECB decision-making and central bank independence European banking regulation after the financial crisis Sovereign debt and fiscal policy in the EU Macroeconomic outlook and global capital markets Public sector finance Ideal for Boards and audit committees stress-testing capital and treasury assumptions against European monetary policy CFOs, group treasurers, and CIOs in banking, insurance, and asset management Public-sector and supranational audiences working on EU economic governance Senior policy and corporate-affairs leaders engaging with European institutions Audience outcomes A working account of how the ECB Governing Council weighs price stability against financial stability, from someone who voted on those trade-offs. A clearer view of what is structural versus cyclical in eurozone politics, including the German-Austrian fiscal stance and its likely persistence. Specific reference points for reading future ECB decisions: which arguments tend to win on the Council, and which signals matter. Context on the European Investment Bank and the EU’s supranational lending architecture as a tool of policy and capital allocation.

Why organisations work with Gillian Tett Her track record on the 2008 crisis is specific and verifiable: she conducted ethnographic research into JPMorgan’s banking culture from 2005 to 2007, published FT warnings about derivative risk before the crash, and documented the analysis in Fool’s Gold – giving organisations a concrete, tested basis for trusting her read of current systemic risk. The Anthro-Vision framework translates anthropological field methods into a practical leadership tool: a way to surface the unstated assumptions, classification systems, and cultural dynamics that standard data analysis cannot reach. The Silo Effect provides boards with a specific diagnostic – that the most dangerous organisational failure modes are cultural, not structural – and a set of case-studied arguments for why addressing them requires a different kind of analysis than process redesign. As co-founder of FT Moral Money, she has tracked the ESG movement from its earliest institutional phase, giving her a longitudinal perspective on how sustainability commitments become financial and reputational risk that few analysts or advisers can match. Her simultaneous role as an active FT journalist and Provost of King’s College Cambridge produces a form of authority that is genuinely rare: live market intelligence, editorial independence, and academic standing, without advisory-firm positioning. Biography highlights 45th Provost of King’s College, Cambridge, since October 2023 FT editorial board member and weekly columnist; former US managing editor (2013-2019) and former Chair of the FT US Editorial Board Co-founder, FT Moral Money newsletter Author of four books: Fool’s Gold (New York Times bestseller), The Silo Effect, Anthro-Vision (Porchlight best business book award; Columbia Business School Eccles prize), and Saving the Sun PhD in Social Anthropology, University of Cambridge Awards: Wincott Prize for financial journalism (2007); British Press Awards – Business Journalist of the Year (2008), Journalist of the Year (2009), Columnist of the Year (2014); British Academy President’s Medal (2011); American Anthropological Association President’s Medal (2022); OBE for services to journalism (2024) Chair of the board of trustees, Knight-Bagehot Fellowship Program in Economics and Business Journalism, Columbia University Biography Gillian Tett has spent thirty years at the Financial Times covering global markets. What she found, consistently, is that what moves them is cultural as much as numerical. The forces shaping systemic risk – tribal behaviour, unspoken institutional assumptions, rigid classification systems – are largely invisible in standard economic analysis. Her most verifiable proof point came before the 2008 financial crisis. From 2005 to 2007, she studied JPMorgan’s banking culture ethnographically and published FT warnings about the systemic risks of credit derivatives – risks that most economists and regulators had not yet identified. Fool’s Gold – a New York Times bestseller – documented that analysis and became one of the definitive accounts of how cultural insularity inside banking created the conditions for the crash. Her subsequent books formalised the method. The Silo Effect showed how cultural classification systems – not just structural inefficiencies – create the organisational blindness that precedes major strategic failures. Anthro-Vision – winner of the Porchlight best business book award and the Columbia Business School Eccles prize – translated this into a practical framework for applying anthropological field methods to business, markets, and geopolitical risk. Her current position is what makes her singular. As the 45th Provost of King’s College Cambridge and an active FT columnist, she reports on markets while leading one of the world’s most significant academic institutions. She co-founded FT Moral Money and holds the OBE for services to journalism. Key speaking topics Global economic risk and geopolitical uncertainty Financial markets and systemic risk Anthropological analysis in business and strategy Organisational silos and decision-making failure ESG and sustainable finance Political tribalism and social change Cultural dynamics of markets and institutions Ideal for Board directors and C-suite executives navigating economic and geopolitical uncertainty CFOs, CROs, and investment audiences requiring independent analysis of financial market dynamics CHROs and transformation leads addressing structural silos, organisational culture, and decision-making quality Policy, government, and public sector leaders facing complex political and economic risk Audience outcomes A framework for identifying the cultural assumptions and social dynamics that standard economic analysis tends to miss A clearer perspective on how organisational silos and cultural classification systems create the blindness that precedes strategic and financial failure Practical insight into how anthropological methods can be applied to risk assessment, market analysis, and organisational decision-making A grounded, independent reading of current global economic forces and geopolitical shifts, drawn from active FT journalism A reframing of ESG as a systemic risk discipline rather than a reputational management exercise

Why organisations work with Sir Howard Davies He is the only person to have both designed the UK’s single financial regulatory architecture – merging nine agencies into the FSA between 1997 and 2003 – and then governed a major commercial bank as its chair. That double vantage point is not replicable by any other speaker in this space. His 2022 book The Chancellors (Polity Press), based on direct interviews with UK Chancellors of the Exchequer, provides boards with a forensic account of how fiscal and monetary policy decisions are actually made under political constraint – directly relevant to any organisation calibrating its exposure to policy risk. He maintains current, published views on global regulatory fragmentation, ESG retreat in financial services, and the direction of financial supervision through his Project Syndicate column and Financial Times contributions – his perspective is live, not retrospective. His tenure as Director-General of the Confederation of British Industry gives him a period in his career where he represented the commercial case in dialogue with regulators and government – meaning he understands regulatory negotiation from the business side as well as the supervisory side. As Chair of Inigo Limited at Lloyd’s of London and a member of a Chinese securities regulatory advisory council, he brings active, multi-jurisdictional board-level experience to questions about how regulatory divergence is reshaping global financial markets. Biography highlights Founding Chairman, UK Financial Services Authority (1997-2003) – created the UK’s single financial regulator by merging nine separate agencies Deputy Governor, Bank of England (1995-1997) Chair, NatWest Group (2015-2024) Director, London School of Economics and Political Science (2003-2011) Professor of Practice, Sciences Po, Paris – teaches financial regulation and central banking at master’s level Six published books on finance and economic policy, including Banking on the Future (Princeton University Press, 2010) and The Chancellors (Polity Press, 2022) Regular contributor to Project Syndicate and the Financial Times Director-General, Confederation of British Industry (1992-1995) Chair, UK Airports Commission (2012-2015) Knight Bachelor (2000) Biography Financial regulation is not a technical discipline that sits at the edge of the boardroom. It is a political process that reshapes the commercial options available to every regulated institution – and boards that treat it as a compliance matter, rather than a strategic one, tend to be late to the table when the framework shifts. Sir Howard Davies has operated at the centre of that process for three decades. As founding Chairman of the UK Financial Services Authority, he created the country’s single financial regulator from scratch between 1997 and 2003, merging nine separate agencies into one body. That work – designing supervisory architecture under political instruction, negotiating between commercial interests and public mandates – gives him a form of institutional authority that no amount of academic or advisory work can replicate. His earlier role as Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, and his preceding three years as Director-General of the Confederation of British Industry, adds the monetary policy and business lobby dimensions to a perspective that is genuinely triangulated across the full regulatory relationship. From 2015 to 2024 he served as Chair of NatWest Group, guiding the bank through a nine-year transformation from a state-aided institution to a commercially independent one. Governance under political scrutiny, board accountability in a regulated environment, and reputational risk in real time are not abstractions in his work – they are operational experience. His six published books, among them The Chancellors (Polity Press, 2022), based on direct interviews with UK Chancellors of the Exchequer, bring the same analytical rigour to economic policymaking that his regulatory career brought to financial supervision. He is currently Chair of Inigo Limited at Lloyd’s of London, a member of the International Advisory Council of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and Professor of Practice at Sciences Po in Paris, where he teaches financial regulation and central banking. For boards in regulated sectors trying to read the direction of travel in financial supervision – across jurisdictions, not just domestically – his vantage point is without direct equivalent. Key speaking topics Financial regulation and regulatory reform Banking governance and board oversight Central banking and monetary policy Economic policy and the role of the Treasury Regulatory risk and political risk in financial services Global financial markets and cross-border regulatory divergence ESG strategy in financial services Ideal for Boards and audit/risk committees in banks, insurers, and asset managers Financial regulators, policymakers, and supervisory bodies CHROs and general counsel in highly regulated sectors navigating governance reform Senior leaders in institutional investment and sovereign wealth management Audience outcomes A clearer understanding of how financial regulatory frameworks are made and how they change under political pressure – not just what the current rules are Practical framing of the governance responsibilities that sit above compliance, drawn from direct board experience at a major UK bank Perspective on the direction of global regulatory divergence, including between US, EU, and UK supervisory approaches A more calibrated view of how monetary policy decisions interact with fiscal policy, and what that means for strategic planning in financial institutions Insight into how the regulator-board relationship works in practice – and where it typically breaks down
