Gamal Fahnbulleh is a broadcast journalist and presenter with extensive experience across major UK news organisations, including ITV News, Sky News and ITN. He presents ITV Granada Reports, the regional news programme for the North West of England, and also anchors ITV News bulletins, bringing audiences clear and authoritative coverage of major national and international developments.
His career in broadcast journalism spans live reporting, studio presentation and in-depth coverage of complex stories. At Sky News he presented across a range of rolling and scheduled news programming, delivering live updates and analysis as events unfolded. Earlier in his career he worked with ITV Breakfast as a North of England correspondent for Daybreak, later Good Morning Britain.
Fahnbulleh has also reported on military operations, embedding with the 1st Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment during a six-month tour of Afghanistan. The reporting formed part of ITV Granada’s “Our Troops in Afghanistan”, which received recognition at the Royal Television Society North West Awards for Best Regional Story.
