Tim Henman
Timothy Henry Henman OBE is a British former professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. He was the first British man to reach the singles semifinals of Wimbledon since Roger Taylor in the 1970s.

About Tim Henman
One of Britain’s greatest ever tennis players, Tim Henman has had an illustrious career playing in the most prestigious tournaments for the sport, in the world. Now available as a keynote and after dinner speaker, Tim shares his stories from the glory days and translates the lessons he learned in his career to practical advice for businesses and individuals.
Known for his serve and volley style of play, Tim Henman is a six times Grand Slam semi-finalist who has garnered global recognition in his fifteen years of professional play. As a fantastically talented player, Tim represented team Great Britain in the Davis Cup and accrued forty wins across the tournament he played. Initially ranked World Number One in 1996, he temporarily slipped to number two, but came back fighting and regained the top position from 1999 for six years, proving his dominance in the sport.
Prior to his international success, Tim competed as a junior, after showing promising talent from a young age. He was selected at the age of eleven by the Slater Squad who trained him and nurtured his talent until he turned professional in 1993. As a junior he played in the New South Wales Championship, National Championships, Junior French Open, and Junior Wimbledon.
Since retiring in 2007, Tim has remained active in the ATP Champions Tour, playing with former professional players. In 2008 he became a part of the BBC commentary team for Wimbledon where he has returned yearly to provide punditry for the summer event. Most recently, Tim has garnered much recognition for his role in captaining Great Britain in the ATP Cup 2020 in Sydney.
