About Alessandro Lanteri

An expert educator and advisor, Alessandro helps executives, managers and entrepreneurs navigate turbulent competitive landscapes and respond strategically to the opportunities of the digital age. He is in demand for his expertise in digital transformation and the opportunities of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, autonomous vehicles, blockchain, fintech, IoT, the metaverse, robotics, VR…), as well as in strategic foresight (e.g., scenario planning, future mindset…).

Alessandro is the Managing Director of the CLEVER Institute and a Full Professor of Strategy and Innovation at ESCP Business School. He also teaches at Hult International Business School in Dubai and New York, and in executive programs at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and London Business School. He has previously held various academic posts at Bocconi University, American University of Beirut, UPO, Grenoble Graduate School of Business, Helsinki University, and UCLA.

Former clients include multinationals, SME’s, and family businesses across five continents in industries such as capital goods, chemicals, consulting, engineering, financial services, FMCG, logistics, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, retail, Technology, telecom, travel and tourism and utilities. The Six Strategic Drivers for the Fourth Industrial Revolution” helps strategic decision makers navigate disruption and seize the emerging strategic super-powers that give companies a competitive edge in the digital age. CLEVER became a no.1 Amazon bestseller in Italy and the UK.

His upcoming book “Innovating with Impact” will be published by the Economist in Spring 2023. In it, Alessandro illustrates the Innovation Pyramid, a strategic process that is rooted in the right cultures and mindsets, leveraging state-of-the-art methods, techniques and themes to reach the pinnacle of improved performance.

Alessandro holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master from Bocconi University and also studied at Harvard University, Said Business School at University of Oxford, Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of technology, Stanford University and Stern School of Business at NYU.

Alessandro has lived and worked in 15+ global capitals in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. He is based in Turin and Dubai.
