About Sebastian Wächter
One second, one wrong decision. One hiking accident resulting in a broken neck. A diagnosis of cervical fracture. 95% muscle paralysis, forever. The most radical change imaginable.
Sebastian Wächter didn’t allow this fateful event to hold him back. He played wheelchair rugby for Germany, earned a Master‘s degree in business mathematics, and worked as a stock analyst for a private bank. Sebastian Wächter doesn’t just talk about change – he has experienced it and learned to overcome it. Now, he helps international corporations and organisations to get their change processes rolling. He also helps companies to instigate changes relating to diversity and motivation. He avoids hackneyed phrases and targets the audience’s emotions, and always with a dash of humor. This allows him to sow seeds that will stick in his audience’s minds and provide them with future inspiration. Sebastian Wächter encourages his listeners to take responsibility for their own actions and refuses to accept excuses. He lives by the motto “stop being a victim and start taking action.
