Meet Melica Moshiri

Melica Moshiri is the founder of SkillTorch, a boutique talent partner for high-growth AI companies across the US and Europe. Known for her straight-talking, energetic approach, she’s built a reputation for connecting emerging tech businesses with the commercial and technical talent they need to scale.

Melica began her career in sales and recruitment before moving abroad solo, living and working across Los Angeles, Orange County, London and Brighton. Her experience spans scaling early-stage companies, becoming a top biller in competitive recruitment markets, and later launching her own business, all while staying true to her love of travel, fitness, and building community.

In 2025, she became a contestant on BBC’s The Apprentice, reaching Week 8 and winning five tasks, including one as Project Manager. Since the show, Melica has appeared across major media including BBC News, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Sussex, The Daily Mail, Yahoo, The Mirror, and international Persian broadcaster Manoto TV.
