Charles Aniagolu’s Background

In addition to anchoring the news from London to a global audience, Charles has travelled the world reporting on major developments and interviewing heads of state, captains of industry and international personalities.

He was the first international correspondent to travel to Chibok in Nigeria’s northeast and to bring the story of the kidnap of the Chibok girls to global attention.

Charles has presented for CNN and worked for 8 years with BBC World Service Radio and BBC World Television. As well as presenting for the BBC, he reported from Northern Ireland during the worst days of the IRA and from Austria, the USA, Burundi, Thailand and West Africa.
